The Pan
American Golf Association (PAGA) is a non profit organization,
comprised of 44 Chapters across the U.S., that
allows golfers (Men, Women, and Juniors) to come out and enjoy the
game of golf, camaraderie, meet new people and partake in some
special events throughout the year. For example, the Pan
American Golf Association holds a National Tournament annually
in July, which will be held in Fort Worth Texas the first week of
July 2007. Our local chapter also holds
weekly play events every Sunday and other Tournaments such as a club
invitational, Turkey tourney (around Thanksgiving), and a Ham
tourney (around Christmas) and many more. Other Chapters
across the nation hold some of the same kind of events such as
Invitationals to raise money to hold a National Tournament when
their time comes.
All handicap ranges
are welcome and we currently range from 0 to 33. When you come
out you will be paired with players in your general handicap range,
so a 33 handicap will not be playing with a 2 handicap. Your
membership fees entitle you to all weekly play events and includes the fee to
maintain your handicap through Mini-Max. There are additional
fees for the tournaments throughout the year. If you are a
member of another PAGA Chapter, just passing through, and want to
join us for a round, please feel free to call the number at the
bottom of this page to
find out where and when, we would love to have you. If you
actually need to talk to a member for directions or to ask any
questions, please feel free to contact me at the webmaster link
below or Tony Rodriguez @ 685-2283.
We hold monthly club meetings to
discuss things that are going on and bring up any new business or
suggestions. For dates and times of meetings and golf course
information, please call our recording at 685-4612. So come on out
and get into the spirit of the game.
